JUNIOR OR
SENIOR WAXER?

CLEAR EXPECTATIONS

When wax specialists just start with us, they start as a junior waxer. This way they can get used to the space, the customers and our waxing methods. For the junior waxer you pay a little less and the waxers have a little longer time for the treatment.  Do you have special requests, have you ever suffered a trauma or are you just extremely nervous? Then make your appointment with a senior waxer.

Full brazilian wax

The FULL BRAZILIAN includes everything from the top, to the labia, to the buttline is taken off.

All hair can be removed or a triangle, stripe or other preferable shape can be left at the top.

The line of hair below the navel - the treasure line 😉- is also included in this service.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Which wax do you use for Brazilian waxing? For our Brazilian wax treatments, we primarily use hard wax, also known as film wax. This wax adheres only to the hairs and not to the skin, minimizing stress on your skin and making the procedure less painful.

Is your wax suitable for my sensitive skin? Absolutely, we offer a special synthetic wax that is specifically suitable for sensitive skin types. This wax has a lower melting point, making the application feel less hot and significantly reducing the likelihood of irritation.

Can I wax while pregnant and when can I wax again after giving birth? Waxing during pregnancy is absolutely fine. We adjust the position of the bed and the waxing posture entirely to your body and needs. You don't need to worry at all that the pressure from the waxing procedure would have any impact on the baby – a sudden delivery has never happened, haha! However, it's possible that your skin might be slightly more sensitive than usual due to hormonal changes during pregnancy, and you might be more prone to skin irritations. After giving birth, you're more than welcome to come in for a waxing session right away. If necessary, we can handle any sensitive or still healing areas with care. The most important thing is for you to feel comfortable again before deciding to come in for a waxing appointment.

When is the best time to come for waxing? Here are some guidelines for different situations: After shaving: If you usually shave and you're considering switching to waxing, it's advisable to wait until your hair has grown to a sufficient length. For effective waxing, the hair typically needs to be about 0.5 to 1 centimeter long so that the wax can adhere properly and remove the hair effectively. This usually takes about 1.5 to 2 weeks. Before a vacation: If you're planning a vacation and considering waxing, it's recommended to do it a few times before you leave. This way, the hairs will have the chance to be in the same growth phase, resulting in optimal results. If this isn't feasible, wait at least 2 to 3 weeks after shaving so that most hairs can be effectively removed. You can schedule the waxing appointment 1 to 5 days before your vacation. Maintenance: To keep your skin smooth and hair-free, regular waxing is recommended. The frequency of waxing depends on the speed of your hair growth, but typically it's advised to do this every 3 to 4 weeks. This can vary depending on the treated area and your personal hair growth rate. It's important to realize that everyone is different, so it might be helpful to experiment and discover what works best for your body and personal preferences. Our waxing specialists are ready to assist you in finding the right approach!

Why wax instead of shaving? Waxing removes hair from the root, resulting in longer-lasting smoothness and less frequent repetition. Over time, waxing can lead to thinner and finer regrowth hair. Waxing generally causes less skin irritation, ingrown hairs, and stubble compared to shaving. Simultaneous hair removal during waxing provides a more even result. You don't have to deal with it every day! This can be convenient for busy schedules.

What can I do to prevent ingrown hairs? During waxing, we completely remove the hair from under the skin. It's possible that as the hair regrows, it can become trapped beneath the skin. The sebum production or gland can get blocked, leading to an inflammatory reaction in your body, resulting in a (painful) red bump. Our first advice is always to exfoliate regularly (2/3 times a week), using a gentle scrub for the face and intimate areas and a slightly stronger scrub for the rest of the body. It's also beneficial to use creams or oils that are antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. Can I exfoliate to release ingrown hairs? No! Unfortunately, this is a common mistake. If you exfoliate too aggressively, you can damage the skin. This can result in small scabs forming over the area, preventing the hairs from breaking through the surface. This can lead to even more ingrown hairs. Prevention is better than cure! We also offer special treatments like the vajacial and hydro jelly masks. Feel free to ask us for advice!
